Myriad Media captures United Way of NC Assignment
The United Way of North Carolina has selected Raleigh's Myriad Media to produce a commercial series to add to the non-profit's current broadcast campaign. The assignment is to highlight community outreach by showing student athletes from Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) universities volunteering. The newest lineup of commercials will show students from NC State and Wake Forest University working with United Way Agencies and programs in the Triangle area and Forsyth County. Representing almost half of the ACC universities, Myriad Media has demonstrated the ability to capture the creative approach the United Way is looking to communicate.
"As ACC athletes and volunteers, these students are positive role models for our young people in all communities," said President of United Way of North Carolina, Jim Morrison. "The ACC student athletes are motivating inspirations for other young people to be involved in their communities and that is the goal of the spots."
Launchng in September, the new spots will punch up images and music designed to get the attention of 18-to 23-year-olds. In addition, the airtime donated by the ACC makes it possible for the United Way to have significant media exposure above what they normally could afford. Morrison confirms that partnering with one of the most popular and credible conferences in the nation enhances the showing of the spots during primetime.
