Opera Company of NC Selects Myriad Media Agency of Record
The Opera Company of North Carolina has selected Myriad Media, a Raleigh-based digital production company, as the promotional agency of record for its 2001 season. Myriad Media already produced a :30 commercial highlighting the season's kick-off Gala Concert celebrating the Honorable Betty McCain in the newly-opened Meymandi Concert Hall.
"We are excited about the involvement of Myriad Media in our fifth and finest season of Opera productions," says Robert Galbraith, general director of The Opera Company of North Carolina. "Myriad Media has demonstrated the ability to increase our awareness on several levels. First and foremost, to electronically capture the passion and imagination of our productions. Second, to reach our audience by email with concert updates and ticket information."
Galbraith notes that in addition to an impressive lineup of adult opera programming this season, for the first time the Triangle will be presented with Star Bird, a one-act operatic fantasy aimed specifically for children and their families. Star Bird, by Henry Mollicone, begins this Saturday, March 31 at Raleigh's A.J. Fletcher Opera House.
